The Belvedere was built by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt as summer palace of Prince Eugene, in 1714. The Belvedere is made up of two different buildings which are connected by beautiful English gardens. The Belvedere is one of the world's finest examples of Baroque architecture. You can visit the gardens for free, and from there you can take stunning pictures of the palaces. Gardens are also ideal for jogging, walking, relaxing, ... You can also visit the palace inside, where you can find a beautiful museum, with the world's largest collecion of Klimt paintings including "The Kiss". Admission tickets: 9,5 €; discount to 8 € if you show the metro ticket valid for 3 days (worth 18 €).

I am in love with Schonbrunn Palace. I have fallen in love with it as I was 4 years old. Vienna was one of the first cities I've visited, and I've been so lucky to visit it several times. Schonbrunn Palas was the summer residence of the emperor, and of course it is worth visiting both inside and outside. I didn't enter the palace this time, because the queue was very very very long! I suggest visiting the palace in the afternoon because so you can avoid all groups of tourists. Admission is 9,50 €, 8,00 € for children under 18. Guided tours cost 15 €, but you can get a little discount if you have the Wien card (3-day bus and U-bahn ticket). You can visit the gardens for free. You get stunning views of the palace up the Gloriette, so have your camera ready!

I spent a very pleasant afternoon at Donau Park. For the price of 8,50 €, I got a combo ticket that allowed me: *to make a lovely run with the Lilliput Bahn, which is a small red childish train that runs around the park; *to climb the DonauTurm (Donau Tower) and to admire the panorama from high, which I enjoyed very much (although it was very windy!!); *to make one more ride (yuppy!!) with the Lilliput Bahn at Praterstern. Tickets can be bought at one of the three train "stations" in Donaupark. Highly recommended, expecially for those like me who still feel children somehow... Tip: climb the tower on a clear day, if possible, so that you can enjoy the view better. I once went on a rainy day (a decade ago) and it was nearly impossible to go on the view terrace outside...

I really enjoyed Stadt Park! The "City Park" in Vienna is said to be an "artificial landscape in the city". Court painter Joseph Selleny and garden director Rudolf Siebeck designed a municipal park where alternating small copses and grassy areas created a unique and varied setting. Pedestrians approaching the park from any side will find a different environment. Those emerging from the "Stadtbahn" railway pavilions will see Viennese Art Nouveau in its purest form, those entering the park from the third district cross a hilly section of the park to find a contemporary steel sculpture by Donald Judd, while those approaching from Ringstrasse must penetrate shady paths to come suddenly upon the airy park meadows. Of course don't miss a picture with the Johan Strauss golden monument, which is a must! Stadtpark is ideal for relaxing, jogging or walking. The park has also a live web cam, from where your friends home can see you! The web cam looks directly Strauss's monument. You can find the internet address directly in the park.
