    • I don't think I need to spend many words to explain why the Louvre is such an awsome museum... I just want to give a tip: buy the admission tickets (8,50 €) as soon as you exit the metro station "Palais Royal, Musèe du Louvre", following the signs to the museum. There is a little bookshop on the right before entering the shopping centre that leads to the ground floor of the museum. This bookshop is never crowded. There are also some automatic machines to purchase the tickets but they didn't accept my credit card (I still don't know why). It is better to visit the museum in the afternoon rather than in the morning (so crowded). After the museum, have a relaxing walk in the Tuileries garden (nearby).
