I finally had the chance to visit Kauai January 2006 for ten days, just enough to get a brief knowledge of the island the people.
Being the oldest of the Hawaiian islands it's also the most vegetated island thereof the name the garden island.
Beaches, mountain chains, waterfalls, hiking, horsebackriding, surfing, snorkeling, the most amazing helicopter flights, nice people and great Hawaiian food are some of the things you can enjoy here.
I'll try to give a glimpse of my experiences on this page.
I'll start of with some culinary tips focused on Hawaiian food. You can get pasta and steaks all over the world, but you can only get laulau, poke and poi in Hawaii. |
