i was born and raised in point pleasant new jersey...and i think it is the only town that the locals do not look forward to summer. the reason for this is because of the mass amounts of people which multiplies each year. those people are called bennys, they drive here with their cars (causing traffic) from new york and pennsylvania, just to go to the beach and see the fireworks. with the huge amounts of crowds that these people cause they also make a mess leaving their garbage behing when there are plenty of trash cans to be found everywhere. personally i think that anyone who hasn't lived in ocean county for at least two years should not be allowed to enter the point pleasant area. this year the bennys are complaining about the town juveniles. they are saying that the young people in point pleasant have bad attitudes. a little bit of info for you bennys, we only have bad attitudes toward you because you come here, trash our beaches, crowd our streets, and raise prices on EVERYTHING! if you come here during the winter, you will see that the children of point pleasant are relatively nice people.
