getting here from lhasa via the northern friendship hiway allowed me to see the tibetan countryside for the first time.

how'd you like to wake up to that view?

i was still in shock when we arrived, guess that's why i got hit by that biker. i still maintain it was his fault, the guy was pretty rigid with his version of the story as well.

I enjoyed reading yr Tibetan tips with a twist of humour! I made the overland trip from Lhasa to Katmandu 20 yrs ago when I was living in Hong Kong. I once drunk some beer feeling thirsty on a high mountain pass. Felt like I drank a litre of vodka!
