Four hundreds years ago, Verona gave birth to the most famous love story in the world- Romeo & Juliet. The unforgettable circumstance of the innocent love of two young people in Verona, admirably recounted by the greatest dramatist off all times, William Shakespeare.
Built in the first century AD, this is one of the best conserved Roman amphitheatres, whose seating area is made up of 44 levels and can hold up to 30,000 spectators.
During the Christmas period inside the amphitheatre you can see lots of displays of how people celebrate Christmas around the world.
