Here in the south

We have always been proud of this wealth.

Here in the South

they last all year, they bring joy,
optimism and happiness...
When you go far,far away, these colours

the colours of my country - Macedonia

Delcevo is a small town in the eastern mountainous part of the Republic of Macedonia and is situated at the foot of Mount Golak on both banks of the river Bregalnica. The town is named after Goce Delcev who is considered one of the greatest Macedonian revolutionary heros.

Goce Delcev- was an important 19th century revolutionary figure in Ottoman Macedonia.

Bregalnica is the second largest river in the Republic of Macedonia. It starts as a spring near the mountain city of Delcevo and it passes near the cities of Makedonska Kamenica, Kocani, Vinica, and Stip before it joins the river Vardar on its way to the Aegean Sea.
