Arrival I am a student at the Universieit Maastricht in the Netherlands and one of my friends said to me at 23.00 that we should go to Aachen tomorrow. I said, sure, why not. Upon arriving after the 40 minute bus ride, we went in the station and got a map so we didn't get lost. |
| The Dom, from the second floor of City Hall |
Everything is in One Place Once we got to the center city, we came across a gargantuan of a cathedral called the Dom. We hung around the Dom for about 3 hours, going in, getting a tour and going to places like the Treasury and City Hall. We realized that since it was Sunday, no shops were open so there was not too much else to see |
Leaving Our feet were exhausted and so were all the sites to have been seen. We jumped back on the bus and headed to Maastricht. |

| Pros: | "The Dom is huge and beautiful, the Treasury is interesting and Ciy Hall is symbolic." | | Cons: | "Everything's in one spot; wish there was a reason to see more of the city." |
