Pros and Cons

Pros:Big island with many places to visit and a lot of things to do: if you like exploring you won't be bored for a long time.
Cons:Not very touristy (yet). But this might be a Pro - for me it is!
In a nutshell:I would not expect to have such a good time here. But I did and I remember these holidays as some of the most relaxing ones I ever had!

I should mention here that, until now, this tip was under the "off the beaten path" section. BUT I realised afterwards... more travel advice

Let me give you a picture: I come here at noon, I find a free umbrela, I order a cold frappe' coffee / iced tea / beer,... more travel advice

You drink your cold frappe coffee out in the balcony and 5 meters away is the sea water... We stayed in a "house for... more travel advice

The only traffic light in Chios is one outside the airport - and it always blinks yellow! more travel advice

Just looked this place up on the map to see where it is. It really does look beautiful! (If you add an intro page more people will be able to find your tips, by the way.)
