Everybody that had been here, insisted that the place was so beautiful. Ok, lets see it then - what's so beautiful about it after all. Well, I can say it now: It's so beautiful. |
| | It's the sea, the green, the architecture. I found it so amazing and I got jealous of the fact that, by taking the bus, the so frequently passing bus, within 10 minutes you can be to the in-city-country. One can take his kids to play under the trees, run on the grass, play with animals, breath breath breath. One can sunbath 5 minutes after he comes back from work if one wishes to.
Sunbath? OK the weather helped, it was such sunny days that I faced here, and everybody said I was really lucky about it, but, hey, I'm just saying what I saw.
**************************************
These beautiful houses, just beside the sea. I've seen it on photos. I'd seen it on the Internet sites that I'd look at. It looked ok.
But I saw it with my own eyes and it was magnificent. |
| | It's the water. It's the people. "If you are thirsty, drink water wherever you find it. It's good and drinkable". That's a change. After all the trips to places where water is undrinkable, drinkable just for the natives, or else suspect, here is the place where water is something you can drink from the tap of the toilet.
This is the city where people are fishing just beside the hotels, because waters are clean. These people make all effort to keep the water clean. "The Swarm" might not have sold a piece if everybody were doing the same.
*********************************************************** Hey, I come from Greece, I should have noticed the difference between the warm Mediterraneans and the cold Scandinavians.
Nehhh...
What I experienced was warm people, ready to help anytime I needed, I asked for a direction and they turned from their way to come with me and show me. I asked for information and they provided it smiling. They kept on saying "you are from Greece? I love Greece!", so friendly. People coming to you, talk to you first, explain "you should go there and there and there if you have the time". They wanted us to have the best of our visit, just because we were there and they loved the place they lived in and they wanted visitors to have the same idea.
Hey, you people, you were supposed to be as cold as ice! Well, I guess, this is how prejudices are shaken. |
