Transportation in Japan First, Ill tell you how to go the center of Tokyo from the airport. You can choose train or bus. The express train and the limousine bus cost about 3.000 jpy. If you prefer local train, its about the half price. The cheapest and the newest way is wa-shoi bus, and its free. It is bound for Akihabara and Shinjuku.

National sport in Japan YES, that's Sumo Wrestling!!! Sumo is a national sport of Japan as you know. There are six tournaments within a year; middle 2 weeks of January, March, May, July, September and November. And you can watch it in Tokyo on January, May and September. The cheapest seat is about 3.000 JPY. Visit this website to get details, http://www.sumo.or.jp |
Mt Fuji Lots of foreign travelers want to climb Mt Fuji. Im afraid but you can climb this mountain only in July and August because of its coldness. There are some beautiful lakes near Mt. Fuji, so just visiting near the mountain is also nice. You can enjoy cycling, hiking or driving to see waterfalls and beautiful scenery of the mountains. |
