Getting TO/AROUND: A second way of entering Senglea is by boat, from across the harbour in Vittoriosa. Pricing tends to be
creative, but last time I took the boat (August 2006) it was around EUR 7.00 for the trip (irrelevant of the number of people that do board). The trip takes 5 to 10 minutes, and the boats pictured, although the actual Regatta boats, are very similar to the ones actually used for passengers crossing the harbour.
Crossings usually start from the Vittoriosa side, but should you require the reverse trip, you may ask the tender to pick you up at a given time, to give you his phone number, or alternatively try to capture his attention from across the harbour, by waving or shouting (seriously - I did this myself).
At Senglea, you will land at the waterfront, very near the Azopardo Bust (see separate entry).
