Restaurant Name: Pizza Star

Pizza Star is one of the few eateries in Zabbar, located in front of a fairly large park area frequented by a number of locals. It is a take-away shop, and my suggestion would be to buy your pizza and eat it while hot in the adjacent park.

Prices are about average, although I must say that it's definitely not the best pizza around, so I'd move to nearby Marsascala for eating out, where the choice tends to be larger...

Restaurant Name: Maranta

Maranta, situated just outside of Zabbar proper, offers a good selection of food at average pricing. The restaurant also offers delivery service to nearby localities (including Zabbar).

Restaurant Name: Anci

This hole-in-the-wall is situated right in the main road, about 150m from one of the petrol stations at the entrance to the City.
Ideal as a rest stop, you can order 'panini' filled with whatever is on offer, but some of the best are those with beef slices and eggs (bajd u laham) or ham and cheese (perzut u gobon).

Restaurant Name: Il-Grabja

This typical restaurant offers a number of dishes, including a variety of pizzas.
It also has an outlet next door that prepares take away foods, mostly fast foods, but also inlcuding pizzas from the menu.

This Chinese restaurant offers both buffet dinners (on Friday, Saturday, Sunday dinner and Sunday lunch), as well a la carte food. Alternatively, you may choose to have your dish prepared for take-away. Do not miss the fried noodles with sweet & sour pork, or duck, or beef, or lemon chicken... or all of them!

For excellent seafood dishes, head down to nearby Marsascala where you may try some fresh fish dishes. Often, you may pick your own fish (priced by the kilo) from a display window inside the restaurant.
Il Re del Pesce is an excellent restaurant, with a fine service to match.
