an astounding collection of monasteries, enthralled by the exterior paintings, the architecture. they deserve heritage status. great pictures.

Wonderful monasteries, esp. the Putna Monastery. The frescoes at Sucenta are simply wonderful and so colourful.

These monasteries in Southern Bucovina are really great - and all that in this nice and peaceful landscape around. I visited the area twice.
