" Memories for a lifetime and...after " adema29's Profile

One day we saw an interview with a very nice lady who said that… if when people die their entire life is shown, then she’ll be very happy because she’ll review all the wonderful places she has traveled...
As well as the lady said, we are also trying to capture as many nice "images" as possible from this World…

Ready to go

Who’s “Adema29”?? Well…under this pseudonym are hidden three persons linked together in a family. Only two of us are active on Virtual Tourist due to the fact that the third one is still not able to write (he is only three years old-now in 2007). Anyway, he is always traveling with us; we hope to be healthy and wealthy :) enough to show him a big part of this World … It will be our present for him in change of the happiness he gives showing us the World through his eyes…
So…when you will read our travel comments, maybe you try to guess which tips are written by whom...

As the time is running, our son is now (2010) over six years old and he is already a frequent flyer on Skyteam. We hope to help him have enough miles to make a World tour when he will be 18:)

A normal view in Finnmark

Passing around those lakes in the mountains around Hammerfest I felt that I need to let there a sign of my visit. I do not know if somebody will see this before the winter time and I am sure that the wind will soon blow away the small white stones until the summer time. Only that photo will pass over the six months long night.
If somebody will see my trace please give me a sign...

Somewhere near Stavanger

I have been working for almost three years in Stavanger and this is mainly how/why we have seen so many places here and why I have started to love the country and the people here.
It is not exactly the financial paradise I was expecting, knowing a bit about their resources (especially the oil and gas), but in a way, Norway is the only "island" of peace and joy I have found until now.
You’ll not see here the opulence specific for almost all the countries rich in resources. It seems that a “tight hand” is ruling the country and I consider this being good somehow.
Of course, spending more time between Norwegians you’ll feel their wealth in some other ways. One of them, new for me, was the concept of “sommerbil” (summer car).
In a place (Stavanger) where it is raining almost 200 days per year, it is a big surprise in my opinion to see on the streets or in garages a lot of convertible cars.
