It was great by the end of it! Ten out of ten for location and it was really clean. The only thing that bothered us was the dozen steps one has to lug one's suitcases to get to the lift. We're quite incapable to carrying bags that have stuff for a two-week vacation! They have an apartment on offer down the road which has an elevator right from ground level so that's where we'll stay next time- not much more expensive either! Excellent, friendly staff and I have to say we were sad to leave for our cruise after three days! Barcelona is a fantastic city and this hotel is probably the best place to explore it from if you're on a budget!
