My trip to Australia started in Sydney. Sydney has a sense of calm that most big cities do not have. During rush hour, there were barely any cars in dowtown Sydney -- my husband and I, both native New Yorkers, were flabbergasted.

Sydney was a great place to travel to, but I think it would be a better place to live. The city has a very comfortable feel, like all would be welcome there. I did have the pleasure of staying with some friends, so I was able to see the suburbs as well.

All in all, I loved Sydney and I would definitely return. I stayed in Sydney for 5 days,. I thought that was a very good amount of time to see the basics, but I would have liked one more day to tour.
