A gem

Mdina is about 20 minutes by public bus from Valletta. It was the capital a few centuries back.

Nowadays it is a well preserved medieval walled city (well, town) adjacent to the town of Rabat.

It is well worth half a day at least to wander the quiet, narrow streets.

The last time I visited Mdina Palazzo Falson was closed.

i´m thinking a bit about a trip to malta some time this year as we have some good connections starting up in a few weeks and this surely looks nice.
