I was renewing my son's passport recently, and had to dig out some old info as part of the process. That got me looking at my old passports.
Turns out I visited Vilnius 40 times in roughly 5 years, starting October 1993.

I see the Neringa really HAS changed. The staff were very good (and mostly very young too which might explain it). Unfortunately I didn't make it to Trakai this time, but I sure want to go back :).
Gosh Iain, the Mabre looks different in midwinter! It's a brilliant place, but my abiding memory is that the entire family - including our 2 year old - went down with food poisoning (contracted elsewhere) and having to use the enormous pile of fluffy white towels to control a night of projectile vomiting. Given our antisocial track record, I don't know whether they'd let us stay again (and we can't even claim to have been on a stag night)! Regards Cathy
