Metro Brasserie: good lunch!

Very "modern" minimalist decor. Good.

Friendly, quick & professional service.

Good food with a decent choice even at lunchtime.

Pleasant outlook over City Quay - redeveloped area with shops, restaurants and offices. Restaurant is in the 4* Apex City Quay Hotel, so easy free parking even tho' its in the city centre.

UPDATE!

Just been back (Dec 10) almost 3 years after my last visit. I had a Christmas Sunday lunch with 7 friends. Really good! I had potted crayfish, venison in a cherry sauce and a prune parfait. Only £17.50 with coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Favorite Dish: I had a salad to start - mozzarella with 4 kinds of tomato (sundried, yellow, "beef" and normal). Excellent.

Then Malaysian chicken curry. Again excellent.

Ashokashak: curry time!

Clean, bright, modern place. Decent menu, reasonable prices. Its located on a leisure park (cinema, ice rink, hotel, fast food etc), so good access and parking.

Favorite Dish: I had a chicken curry with chili + potatoes, rice, paratha. Very good.
