"sedate" San Sebastián by iaint

Was on way from Madrid to Toulouse by train, and stopped off here for some reason. Maybe just wanted to see Basque country. Maybe just had to take a break from the travel (I'd been in Madrid for a few hours only, to see Real take on Ajax in European Cup semi). Before that I'd come all the way to Madrid by bus from Casablanca.

It was worth the trouble. Very genteel seaside resort for well off Spaniards.

Not much doing in April, tho.

But you have Biarritz & St Jean de Luz just round the corner, and all the Basque country in Spain as well, just waiting for exploration. Then there's the food and culture...
