Restaurant Name: Next2 Cafe

Great place to go for a so, so relaxing lunch. Sit outside on the riverside terrace, enjoy your food, and watch the world go by on the river.

Excellent buffet with food from different countries, or you can order a la carte.

Favorite Dish: Sad to say, their cheeseburgers!

After several days of enforced rice and noodles whilst up in the north east (where European food used to be very hard to find) I'd be drooling over the thought of a good steak or burger. This place never let me down.

Most things on the buffet table were superb.

Restaurant Name: Sala Rim Naam

Its part of the Oriental Hotel, synonymous with with luxury. Its on the other side of the river from the hotel, and there's a wee hotel ferry takes you across.
Its a top end restaurant aimed at the 5 star tourist market, and business people. Very good food, service and atmosphere, but at a price.

Favorite Dish: pla goong - always love the fresh seafood

Restaurant Name: Seafood Market and Restaurant

Maybe not unique, but close to it. Like a supermarket for fish eating. You choose your food from what's on display at the counters, tell them how you want it cooked, and then go away and wait.

Its always good, and always fresh, and you always order too much!

Highly recommended.

Favorite Dish: Anything and everything - I love my seafood!

Restaurant Name: Silom Village

Good atmosphere, good food, good service. Definitely more for tourists than locals, but worth going anyway. Priced accordingly.

Favorite Dish: Can't remember!
I've been many times and it was always good.
