Where to begin...?

Well firstly thanks for looking. The page is a little empty yet, but it will certainly get more colourful as I clutter it up with photos etc.....

I'm a 50 year old (hell, how did THAT happen so quickly !) 'business' man and I travel through Europe, Asia and the South Pacific. I also made it down to Brazil for the first time this year and I frequently visit the US and Canada.

I got interested in this site with a view to logging my travels and hopefully picking up contacts with like minded people.

Some of my experiences over the last decade or so have been hilarious and some not so funny (and some downright unpleasant). I aim to begin documenting some of them.

Just seen your comment in respect of Sandy Island. I am really beginning to think that we share the same low form of humour, but it makes me a little sceptical about the faith I should put in your tips in future!

  Smallish - but we do feed them well, so growing like weeds! Our daughter is a Rubenesque 9 and our son is a scrawny 6. Unfortunately they are far too well travelled already, and having establishes the pattern, we feel duty bound to maintain it! Rwanada and Burundi, here we come!

  Rwanda and Burundi my my, that is travel indeed..I have a map of Africa on my office wall (my office walls are map covered!)...and truth be told I would probably feel a little edgy in Rwanda...outside my travel comfort zone, having never been to Africa and seen probably too much on tv. My three girls are a bit older at 22,19 and 16...you never stop feeding them!

  Hi...I just love natural phenomena...wonderful. My daughter is a marine biology student and she talks so much about the barrier reef!, one day I am sure I will have the pleasure to visti Cairns.
