We go to visit relatives. My dad had a brother and sister that live there in Bulacan -- home of the fireworks, so I get to visit cousins and the rest of the extended family. My mom has a sister, aunts, and other relatives, we visit them in Zambales (near Subic). My grandfather (mom's dad deceased) is from Bicol. I hope to go there in the next year or so.
So we go to relax, sight see, check out the handicrafts, mango season, and just enjoy ourselves. My kids love it too.
- Pros:Fresh Fruits, Friendly people, culture,
- Cons:Pollution, traffic
- In a nutshell:"Home away from home" even my husband loves it here
