Dante´s statue

Dante was guest of Scaligeri (noblemen of Verona) during his exile from his hometown Florence.The statue lies at the piazza dei signori which is surrounded by buildings of Scaligeri.Dante in order to thank Scaligeri, he dedicated to them the last part of his epic Divina Comedia, il Paradiso.
