Amsterdam is Party Central | New Year's Amsterdam 2006 |
I have never quite found a New Year's Eve Party like the party that I found in Amsterdam this 2006 New Year's. I had a great time. There must have been half a million people in the Dam Square (this is the center of Amsterdam). There was a beer garden, live music, it was great!! |
|  | Another Drink on New Years in Dam Square This picture was taken about ten minutes before 2006 in the center of Dam square. I am sitting on the bar because I was getting so squished. Currents of people are spiralling around each other and every now and then the metal bar that I am sitting on moved and squeeked due to the massive pressure of humans in Dam square. I have never been at a bigger party with more people. |
