The Greenest Place in the World

Life's about finding the party and having fun. Anyone else telling you something else should have their head checked. I travel the world to find people like myself to party with. Along the way, I snap a whole bunch of cool pictures and meet a whole bunch of new people. The way I figure it, I got one life to live, I might as well live it up. I recently just found a good party at the Dublin Castle. I got to kiss the Blarney Stone so now I have the gift of Gab. The Blarney Stone is an ancient stone purported to be from Biblical times and is said to be the legendary stone on which Jacob slept on. And all those who kiss it are bestowed with the gift of eloquence. This picture above is the view from the top of Blarney Castle in Blarney, Ireland.

Ranu Raraku, Easter Island, aka: Rapa Nui

I am standing in the postcard view of Rano Raraku. This is the place where all those famous stone heads were built on the island. The mystery surrounding this area is bizarre. Not only are modern day scientists baffeled as to why the heads were built but they are also clueless as to why they stopped building them. Nobody knows the reason why there are so many heads lying around Rano Raraku that are only half finished and at times still in the rock. Why were they ditched there and not completed? Perhaps a codebreaker with the ability to read Rongo Rongo will translate their history one day. Or if I get some more free time, perhaps I will do it.

Red Beach, Santorini Island, Greece

I found this rare beach on Santorini Island in Greece. Santorini is one of the possible locations of the legendary Atlantis. This horseshoe shaped island is the only remaining remnant of the mountain of Thira that exploded about three and a half thousand years ago with such a force that it completely demolished the island and much of the medirerranean islands, coastal Greece, Crete, and coastal Egypt. There has even been speculation that the 10 biblical plauges of Egypt (Moses stuff) may have been caused by this eruption. What makes this island so cool today is all of its beautiful beaches that come in a variety of colors. Each beach has a different type of sand created by the eruption and polished over by the crystal blue water. Beaches include a black pebble sand beach of Perissa, a number of white sand beaches, and even a rare red sand beach near the ruins of Acrotiri. Santorini is truely an incredible island and a fun place to explore, get lost in, get a tan, and dream inside of.

Saqsewoman (Cuzco), Peru

This is a picture of an ancient wall built by who knows in the hills above Cuzco, Peru. The sacred place is called Saqsewoman or Sexy woman is the easy way I remember it. The geometry used to create this wall is still unknown. The rocks are stuck together with no mortar or anything. Their geometric shapes just work to keep the wall in place and it has stood there for thousands of years. In fact the only people who messed with parts of it were the Conquistidors which used lots of the rocks to build the city of Cuzco in the 16th century.

Valley of the Queens, Luxor, Egypt

This is one awesome view from a balloon of the Valley of the Queens in Luxor Egypt! It was my first time in a hot air balloon and I was pretty impressed by how smooth the ride was. The Valley of the Kings is located right over the ridge and that is the one everyone knows the best. Does Tutankhamun ring a bell. Yeah. This is where they found him and they are still finding more tombs in the valley each year.

Manhatten, New York City, New York, USA

This is a picture I snapped from across the Hudson River in Hoeboken. It shows a good skyline view of New York City. In the center is the Empire State Building. Isn't this city beautiful!

Sunrise in Malibu, California, USA

Here is the view of Malibu Beach just a few steps away from my house. I woke up early at 6:30 AM and decided to take a picture and I am glad I did.

Chinese Dragon, Forbidden Palace, Beijing, China

I found this awesome Bronze statue in Beijing, China. I took a picture of it because it reminded me of a dream I had once where a snake-like dragon was chasing me while I happened to be dressed in Chinese warrior garments. Before I had the dream, I always thought dragons looked like Puff the magic dragon or that dragon in Dragonheart. My dream dragon was much different, and it flew. The more I looked into this strange dragon I had dreamed about, the more I found out about a mythical dragon that plauged people in the past. St. George was even fabled to have confronted this mythical beast and I got a picture in Prague of St. George fighting a similar looking dragon. Since I am very in touch with my dreams and believe that my dreams are a mixture of imagination, everyday reality, and realities from previous lives that stem from a collective unconcious, I found this statue to be very meaningful to me.
