Benin Marina Hotel: Sheraton Benin

    • I stayed in Sheraton for a week during my stay in Benin. Sheraton is close to 2 KM from the city centre and about a KM from the Airport. The rooms and the services are excellent. There are rooms which faces the beach and a walk is a very nice experience.

    Unique Qualities: The hotel has the best pool in town and also one of the best pubs in town, although a bit elite.

    • Hotel Du Port is situated 1 KM from the city center. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks after I landed in the country. This hotel is near the Port of Cotonou and accessible from all parts of the city. The hotel boasts of a clean and large swimming pool. The Pizzeria in the hotel is excellent.

    • Casa Del Papa is a beach resort in Ouidah. The resort faces the beach and to the back of the resort is the back waters. It has independent cottages, well decorated. There is a continental restaurant by the beach...and fish is the delicacy not to be missed.

    The beach although rough is very clean. There is a disco and a pub ..but this is not frequented even by the residents.
