Amsterdam is the first country that I visited in Europe, and as I had imagined it was a journey mixed with both modern and culture. I stayed at the Crown Plaza in city center. This was an accessible place for me to travel. Also whenever I was bored in the hotel, I could just go for a stroll and see the life on the streets
As I walked across the street, I could see the city was connected with a network of canals. There were a lot of canoes and boats in the canal and I could see there were lot of tourist taking the boat rides.
I found a stroll across the street to be a relaxing way to spent the evening, the Dam Square, The Canals etc were all beautiful as the night set in. People were busy, there were lots of tourist around. The colours, lights, music everything created a mesmerising feeling.
