Tibet Fest 6

Tibet Fest is held over two days at the Goshen Fairgrounds, Goshen CT. I first went to this event in 2009. It is a great opportunity to experience Tibetan culture, especially now with the borders closed to foriegn tourist. The organizer, who is one extraordinary person, took two years off from putting this event together. In 2010 I was disappointed that the event was not going to happen.

By chance, several weeks ago, I decided to search google for this event and low and behold, Tibet Fest was back for this weekend, July 14 and 15. A great weekend off traditional Tibetan music, chanting, food and a sand mandala. Please see the travelogue

Hi Kimberly! The Blogger Press Pass worked great. Tibetfest is a fairly open event but because I was wearing my press pass I was able to sit right up front the watch the musical acts so I could take pictures and record some video. Alot of the vendor's and attendee's asked about VT so I filled them in. Can't wait to attend another event!
