I first visited Yosemite about 15 years ago. I drove into the valley and wondered at the beauty of the soaring cliffs. I was initially disappointed in the crowds of people and traffic in the valley floor. I only spent a few hours that trip because it was not the focus but knew I would return.

Returned last month to explore a few more days and I am so glad I did, I am planning another trip to include more than just a few days.

There are three visitor centers in Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne, Yosemite Valley and Wawona. They close much earlier than you may think and the lines could be long. The rangers are very helpful, especially toward children wanting to become junior rangers. Alot of fun.
