    • Steavenson Falls is one of the main attractions of the village of Marysville. The falls tumbles 83 meters down the forest hills and is an amazing sight both by day and by night. At night, the falls is lit by several floodlights. A nice hiking trail will take you to the top of the falls, or you can admire its beauty from the bottom. The ancient beech forest itself is quite intriguing with its tall ancient trees.

    • If you spend time in Marysville, you are sure to notice streaks of bright red or flourescent green flitting through the sky. These birds are "king parrots" as one resident of Marysville explained to me. Their mannerisms remind me of the North American version of a pigeon - yet so much more colorful and beautiful!! Whey can't I have red pigeons??
