a good package of sight seeing includes a hike to the SMV church then to the cemetery, then Echo valley , then the under ground river, then to the Bokong falls, while going home, you would pass by the Sagada WEaving, products and weavers alike could be found there.

All Souls day in SAGADA, fire em up

during All Saints Day, the cemetery turns to hell when fires are ignited near the graves of SAGADa.. explanation for this unique way of lighting ones grave is simple.. instead of candles use wood. keeping a 100 years of tradition.

"ikik"(bird catching in SAGADA)

like it or not. during the months of september to november, lights on the mountain of mount ampacao emerges when locals go hunting for bird. it is migration season for birds. below is a person waiting and swapping low flying birds.. What its for.. for food... ahehehehehehehe... birds are being caught at night by the way...

due to the Avian Influenza virus, the local government of SAgada passed an ordinace banning the catching of Migratory birds. hopefully no one would break that ordinace.. ahehehehhehehe
