Brescia is a peaceful city laying near some hills in Lombardia region which is close to Garda lake. It is mostly an industrial area but they have some interesting Roman ruins, a castle uphill and the city's Dome is interesting.
I went to Brescia to visit the Van Gogh exhibit: It was the second time i went there to view an art exhibition at Santa Giulia Museum. They have a very good location and the Santa Giulia museum is also interesting in and of itself.
During this visit i took some time to visit the center and to taste their local food and wine. Thanks to the advice of my VT friend
PALLINAI found a very good restaurant frequented by the locals. Well done Anna!!
On a Sunday the town look very quiet, has little traffic which presents good parking opportunities near the center.
