"The village of the many towers" San Gimignano by oriettaIT

Many many times driving throug Tuscany going to some place I went by San Gimignano. Looking up from the freeway I saw its many towers and I felt sorry I could not stop and visit. It was always very attractive and fashinating to me for some reason. When I finally had the opportunity to go I decided it should have been everything or nothing. It was March, not a peak season for tourist and I got to sleep in a room in the very center. I wanted to walk around at nigth in its narrow streets when few people were ther and try to feel the atmosphere of the real place.
I have been completed happy with my visit!! San Gimignano is a special place and the view of the country around is terrific.

Chatting in the sun

I always like to watch people when I am traveling, I enjoyed watching those men talk and joke in a sunny spot of the piazza.

• Cons:Crowded during daytime, parking is hard and very expensive
