Unspoilt, Untouched, Unique simply natural. That's Dominica, the nature Island of the Caribbean. If you are looking to get away from tourist countries and you want something more undisturbed, if you choose Dominica, you would have chossen the right Island. The language is Patois, which is a French creole. It's mainly spoken by the grandparents. English is spoken there, its like their first language so you won't have to find a translation book.
Dominica isn't a country that is commercialised like some of the other Islands,and I like that. If it becomes too commercialised then the Island would change to suit the tourist industry.
On the Island besides black people you will find Indians. Caribs that settled on the Island many a year ago.They have their own reserve.
This is me at 18 years of age at my grandparents house on Kings Hill in Dominica. I'm standing on the balcony with the sea view, behind me. The beach that accompanies the sea is called Donkey beach. Which has black sand.
