A Wonder Ancient Civilization | Giza`s Sphinx and pyramids |
Ancient Egypt Civilization was my biggest interest in my High School`s history class. It was hard for me to imagine that there was a time, 5000 years ago, when people live with their pride as humanbeings, maximize their talents and nature and being the greatest inventors. I am lucky, being able to look at their inventions, monuments, and their treasure. I can understand why people used to think that those pyramids were built by the aliens. It was such an amazing experience for me to sit and stare at their beauties by myself. They invented many things to survive, to groom, and even to display their prides which are last till thousand of years ahead. The things which havent discovered by other part of the world. Five thousands years ago, when other civilizations were still hardly survived and lived.Such a wonder ancient civilization. |

| | Things To Do in Cairo There are thousands things to do in Egypt generally and many interesting activities could be done in Cairo alone. The Pharoonic civilization tour, such as Giza&Sahakkara pyramids and Cairo museum tour will be `the must`. Some great architecture arts like Mohammad ALi Mosque, Citadel of Salahudin, Gottic church, and October panorama are worthy to spend our tour time too. You don`t want to miss the King Ramses museum in Memphis and the dinner on Nile River cruise. When you have more time to spend in Cairo, enjoy yourself with belly dancing show, the best belly dancing among the arab countries. You may shop some Egypt souvenirs and gifts for your loved ones at home in Giza shops (papyrus, carpets, aromatherapy, handcrafts) and Al-Khalili market. Well, I may conclude that it depends on what your main interest in visiting Cairo and how long you will stay in Cairo. |

| | My Point of View For Cairo As a woman traveller, reading the danger and warning tips in VT will be the important thing to do before traveling to the new places. I was really surprised to see many danger and warning tips for woman in Cairo page, so I did some special precautions on my side, yet still hoping for the best. I had a very bad experience at Cairo international airport in my first hour in Cairo and it ruined all my hopes to enjoy my Cairo.:-)). As the matter of fact, after spending one day in Cairo, I faced some other nice things of Cairo and enjoy my trip.I was warned by my tour guide not to believe anybody on the streets and avoid tiping people. Nevertheless, I have found some other beautiful and great people of Cairo. The people who proud to be part of magical Egypt and welcome everybody to explore their country. The traffic, the crowds, the dirts, and street hunters are everywhere, even in other countries` tourist destinations. The package tours will be good options for your safety but you may find yourself spending more time in some gift shops guided by your tour guides.:-))Well, if you fond of adventures, travelling alone in Cairo won`t be difficult and worth to try on. |
