Los Angeles - the good and the bad

Trying to figure it all out

Venice Beach
During our trip to California, we stayed most of the time right outside L.A. Even though we'd both been there/lived there before we wanted to see and experience as much as we could. It's hard! There is so much to do and see, and traffic is bad, so we spent a lot of time in the car getting to one place or another. It clearly was time consuming.. We did visist Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Universal Studios and we drove by Sunset Boulevard, Melrose Avenue and Sunset Strip.. we'd seen it all before so we didn't bother getting out of the car.. And we went to The Grove and Farmer's Market. I visited Fred Segal and Kitson. Yes it was quite an experience and I'd love to spend more time there.. but it's hard, because you have to drive everywhere..
