A lot of people I know love Nice and usually spend a few days there every year. This is the reason why when a friend of mine graduated, together with her sister and an other friend of us, we organised a trip to Nice as a present. My general impression on the city is positive, but I was definitely expecting more from it. Old downtown (Vieux Nice) is impressive indeed, though too much touristic, streets are dirty (dogs leftovers and anything else), and I got the impression that people wanted to cheat us, above all in the city center. |
| A wonderful yellow building |
What I really loved in Nice are colours. Everything is colourfull: flowers in the flower market, fruits, vegetables, buildings and the sea it's incredibly blue! The wonderful Cote d'Azur micro-climate makes everything look even nicer. |
| Place Masséna with some road works |
We were not lucky because when we visited the city there were a lot of ongoing road works, so we could not really enjoy all the streets and squares. |
