Hello, we're Henk and Irene from The Netherlands. To be exact, we're from the city of Hoogeveen, which lies in the Province of Drenthe.

We like travel, espcially in Europe we have been around.

I will try to describe my travel experiences.
But with excuse, I can this only do in my humble English.

We have in the past made many holiday trips through Europe. Like Germany, Austria, Britain, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Yugoslavia (now Croatia), Italy, Canary Islands, Slovakia, Belgium and the Czech Republic. Once into North Africa, namely Tunisia. For my work I also Denmark, Sweden and Hungary visited. Most with the car, a single with a plane. However most of these trips took place between 1965 and 2000. Our experiences are dated and may therefore not as actuals.
After 2000 we have concentrated more on cycling holidays, especially after my retirement in 2003. We made in 2005 a two months trip through east Australia and Tasmania. That year no cycling holiday. Therefore I try to describe our experiences since 2000. Descriptions accompanying through videos and photos. Not only bicycle trips, also other trips to cities and also interesting objects.

We're proud parents and grandparents. We have 2 sons by the name of Sander and Jeroen.
We have 4 grandchildren, one grandson Sam and 3 granddaugthers Iris, Jasmijn and Amber.
