"A Trip to Slow Slow Paradise" São Tomé by filipacm

I spent 1 week on holidays in São Tomé, the first 4 days in ilhéu das Rolas, south of the main island, and the remaining time based in the capital but running all around. My very first impression was wonderful. I felt enchanted with how real and untouched the island is, by it's natural beauty. The airport is absolute caos, everything is slow, no computers or anything electronic, which gives the place a certain magic. People waiting for the plane como right up to it and you cross to customs on foot.

The capital is noting of what you would think of as a capital. The ideia of adventuring myself alone to the mais market is absolutely scaring.
