St. Francisville is less than an hour's drive from Baton Rouge (my hometown). I enjoy spending a few nights at a bed and breakfast, hiking at the Clarks's Creek Natural area, and browsing the antique stores. It is hilly for south Louisiana and there are many lovely plantation homes to visit. It's a great location to unwind.
