Namibia

The country were I was born. The first country that I ever got to visit once I became a citizen of South Africa. I was 10 years old and the beauty of it blew me away. One of my most memorable moments would walking into the desert and feeling like the only person in the world.

Japan

My first trip overseas and one that will live with me forever. I took up a teaching post at an English School. This would be the start of my hope of at least seeing a good majority of the world. The country, the people, the whole way of life amazed me. Good memories and awkward and funny moments will continue to pop into my mind for years to come.

Thailand

The Boxing Day Tsunami really bought my attention to Thailand. I really wanted to visit it to understand it. Ironicaly it was over xmas the following year. The laid back and relaxing life style amazed me after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The beauty of the place, especially Khao Tao took my breath away.

China

China has many amazing and beautiful places but I was truly surprised what impressed me most. I wish I had more time in China as there are truly many more things I wish I had seen.

South Korea

My second teaching position overseas and currently the country that I call home.
