Personally I find that Pattaya has really not much to offer compare to her other counterparts. If you are looking for a beach, the beach here is almost non-existence and its all dirty and smelly and non compareablet o Krabi. If you are looking for shopping, it definately cannot beat Bangkok and needless to say their nightlife.

I find the whole city more or less catered to old anglo-saxon folks who have nothing much better to do than to sit around with a beer passing time but do not like the hustle and bustle of the other tourist spots and cities.

I persoanally recommend you to stay away from this place because I regreted coming here but as I have said, different stroke for different folks...
