"Sadao Dannok" Sadao by kenningst

Sadao or more commonly known by Malaysians as Dannok is the first Thai town you will see once you cross the Malaysian-Thailand border (Sadao Border). If you are coming from Malaysia, once you have passed the Thai border, its mere 5 metres walk away. Mainly visited by Malaysians who wants to do a weekend getaway.

The first impression that you might get is, "what the heck is this place?". Where is all the those beautiful Thai places I see in National geographics? The answer is Dannok is just the tip of the ice-berg. In fact i personally don't consider Dannok as Thailand. Just Malaysia with a Thai touch, if you get what i mean.

Bring no expectations to this place because it has nothing to offer and thus will bring you no dissapointments...

During the day, it looks as if its a cowboy town.
