  • We paid for the riverside view in a double room - was given a 7th floor corner room. Views of the river. Reception service was prompt and polite. Changed money easily at the reception. One thing to watch out for: the sun rises really early - by 6 am, the sun is almost mid-way. Close your curtains tightly, if you don't want to be fooled into thinking its already almost 10 in the morning.

Unique Qualities: The bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was a good stock of toiletries - from sewing kits, cotton balls, comb, toothbrush and the standard liquid soap and shampoo - don't really have to bring anything other than maybe facial soap! Plenty of towels of diff sizes. Only thing was that they had 2 small bottles of complimentary mineral water - which is hardly enough for 2 persons each day. Breakfast was decent - there was the standard pho counter, japanese, congee, breads and western fare - cereals, waffles, grilled veges, cold meats, sausages, loads of dried and fresh fruits, only downside - japanese sushi looked a bit unprofessionally made, and there should be more vietnamese appetisers/rolls.
