Dallas Travel Guide: 1,335 reviews and 2,444 photos
Dallas shocked the heck out of me - it is cosmopolitan with a village feel. The city is so attractive it was all I could do not to start househunting. It is urban, yet affordable, with much to do and a very diverse population. The only deterrent I could find are the 100 degree plus summers. My visit took place in March, however, so the weather was beautiful, if a little on the chilly side. If you're interested in a more small-town feel, nearby Ft. Worth provides respite from the big city.
