Border Town This town is within about 1 mile of I-10-just west of Yuma.
My wife and I wanted to visit Mexico-just to say we'd been there. We found out about this community from a restaurant manager in Yuma. He suggested it because its easy to get to.
We parked in the large parking lot on the US side and walked into the town. We stayed for only about an hour. By that time we'd had it up to our ears with merchants hawking their wares. (Jewelry, t-shirts, ceramics, pharmacy, dental and optical)
There wasn't one moment's peace while we were there. That's not to say the folks weren't friendly, they were. We were just relieved to "escape" back to the north side of the border. |
