Getting TO/AROUND: Once you get to Venice, if you do not have a map, just ask the information/tourist booth for a free one. Maybe nowadays, they might charge one euro, but I highly recommend one. Have an itinerary plan: where would you like to go first? Museums? Piazza di San Marco? Take a ride on a gondola? Visit the stores? Restaurants? My friends and I planned to walk the entire town and get the Piazza San Marco by foot in a matter or 1-2 hours. It worked. We saw sooo much in so little time!

Category: Ship/Boat
Getting TO/AROUND: If you would like to visit the Dodges Palace and it is a crowded day, make sure you plan ahead and go first thing in the morning. I personally didn't wait too long (20 minutes top) to get in. A small fee (approx 2-3euro) Inside the Palace are statues, rooms, paintings and furniture that seem intact and very well preserved for hundreds of years.
