  • Traveling in Gondolas is not that expensive. If you're traveling with many people (for example, 4 or 5, it'll come out cheaper).
There's a whole range of prices from $50 to $150. You might want to split up the price. This includes a nice beautiful ride around Venice. Its delightful!

  • This is the bridge of sighs, which is not hard to miss, even if you only have one day to visit Venice. At first this bridge was intended to torture the prisoners and now it is considered to be a pretty romantic destination. Ironic, huh?

  • On the left of the picture is the Palace of Dodges...my Art Class is looking at many italian sites that I've already visited, which makes my learning lessons a deja vu!

All the way at the end, I'm not sure if you can see the water, and a tower, I can hardly see it myself, but you get the picture :)

  • This is what you see if you stand with your back towards the San Marco Basilica. I'm not 100% sure what is in them...maybe offices, museums, or something similar....if anyone knows, please inform me! Thanks!

  • The Dodges Palace was also a great site to visit. The pointed arches set in high elevations and in a very symetrical way gave the palace a beautiful exterior. The interior provided a courtyard that can see a great part of the Basilica.
The museum contained many interesting rooms with original artefacts, paintings and priceless objects.
